Cookies

Our website uses cookies (as almost all websites do) to help provide you with the best browsing experience.  A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer/phone’s hard drive.  Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not.  A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

Cookies help us to:

  • Allow the basket and shopping functionality to work
  • Set your currency and delivery preferences
  • To log traffic, so we can identify which pages are being visited and see where traffic comes from.

We do not use cookies to:

  • Collect any personally identifiable information (without your express permission)
  • Collect any sensitive information (without your express permission)

Third Party Functions

Our site, like most websites, includes functionality provided by third parties.  We use Woocommerce cookies to provide functionality of the web shop and YouTube cookies  in order to embed useful informational videos.
Disabling these cookies will likely break the functions offered by these third parties.

Anonymous Visitor Statistics Cookies

We use Google analytics cookies to compile visitor statistics such as how many people have visited our website, what type of technology they are using (e.g. Mac or Windows which helps to identify when our site isn’t working as it should for particular technologies), how long they spend on the site, what pages they look at etc.  This helps us to continuously improve our website.  Analytics programs also tell us, on an anonymous basis, how people reached this site (e.g. from a search engine) and whether they have been here before helping us to put more money into developing our services for you instead of marketing spend.  You may opt out from the collection of navigation information about your visit to the Site by Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out feature.

Granting us permission to use cookies

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.  This may prevent you from taking full advantage of our website.

To find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set and how to manage and delete them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
