FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions)
I’m not in UK – how can I purchase Easi-Grip products?
If you are outside the UK please complete our Overseas Distributor Enquiry Form and we will direct you to a local reseller.
Can our School send an official purchase order?
If you need credit terms for an official order, please email orders@peta-uk.com fully detailing items required (including product code) and contacts for delivery and invoicing. Your order will be processed within 3 working days and there will be 30 days credit from date of invoice.
How do I return an item?
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please return your item in original condition and packaging within 14 days of delivery. Once we receive your item, as long as it is in a re-saleable condition, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.
You will be responsible for paying for return shipping costs and the outbound shipping costs will not be refunded.
What ages are your children’s scissors appropriate for?
All children develop differently and it is therefore inappropriate to indicate an age range for our scissors. The child needs to develop hand strength and fine motor skills to use scissors safely and effectively. Typically, our Mini-Easi-Grip Scissors (MEG-1) are used as a first scissor in preschool and the child then develops, at their own speed, to using the standard size scissors at Primary School. By High School age typically children will have honed their scissor skills and be able to use our adult range of scissors.
REMEMBER – SCISSORS SHOULD ALWAYS BE USED UNDER AN APPROPRIATE LEVEL OF SUPERVISION.
How do I know which adapted scissor is best for my child/pupil?
An OT is always the best person to answer this question, however, if you don’t have access to an OT we recommend you read “OT Recommends for…” on the scissor pages in SHOP which will advise which difficulties the scissors can help to overcome. If you are still unsure please contact info@peta-uk.com and we will advise.
What materials can your scissors cut?
Our scissors have been designed to cut paper and light card, for day-to-day tasks and craft activities.
I’m registered disabled – how do I claim VAT Exemption?
